N atural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis, and floods can often come at the least expected time. Others, such as hurricanes and cyclones are increasing in severity and destruction. Typically, the poor are the worst hit for they have the least resources to cope and rebuild. When a natural disaster strikes, the MTF Volunteers plays a role in responding. Resources and employee support are mobilized to assist the affected communities. In many cases, MTCT is in a unique position to address the particular needs created by natural disasters, as our capabilities include technology, expertise and products in areas such as water, food and health care. When natural disasters and humanitarian crises strike, communities are often devastated and left vulnerable, having little access to some of life's essentials, such as food, clean water, shelter, and basic services. While they must deal with the tragic loss of human life and property, they also have to face the uncertainty of seeing their livelihoods destroyed or severely affected. We provide compassionate care to those in need .MTCT responds to disaster victims, ranging from home fires that affect a single family to hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunami and flood that impacts thousands. We help them get back on their feet. MTCT works in partnership with other agencies that provide services to disaster victims. Let us join together.
