• Release of commemorative coin.

To mark the 100th birth anniversary of MOTHER TERESA, Mother Teresa Charitable Trust approached Hon’ble Prime Minister of India to release a Commemorative coin on 26th august 2010. PMO in principle accepted our request and in their order ID No. 260/62/C/3//2009 dt.8.1.2009 directed the Ministry of finance Economic Affairs to release the Coin.

Ministry in their File No.2/12/2009/coin Govt. of India dated 10.11.2009 requested Mother Teresa charitable trust to submit paper designs for the coin. However the design submitted by Missionaries of charity Calcutta was accepted and finalized. Ministry asked US to coordinate and organize the coin release function jointly by Mother Teresa Charitable trust and Missionaries of Charity Kolkata. "Govt. of India order"

• TATA's acceptance to jointly work with MTCT.

The renowned Industrialist and Philanthropist Mr.Ratan N Tata evinced interest to join with Centenary celebrations of Mother Teresa vide lr. dated 28oct.2010 and also evinced interest on the suggestions made Dr.Sivathanu pillai ex Director,DRDO & Ex. CEO &MD BrahMos to jointly taking up a project with MTCT &TATA Group on Light weight calipers vide his personal letter dated 17th Dec.2012.
